APRINS, the NGO, was established in 2009 as a non-governmental organization dedicated to making a positive impact in the state of Assam. We operate under the Registration of Societies Act XXI of 1860, solidifying our legal status and commitment to transparency. Since our existence, we have strived to achieve our set prime goals. The organization since its formation is solely focused onto uplift the weaker section of society. The Foundation is mainly focused on areas related to the development of Livelihood, Skill Development, Capacity Building, Health, Education, and women empowerment programs.

APRINS help farmers to work resolutely for establishing a strong end-to-end linkage mechanism from the arrangement of inputs, credit/ finance, and production of agricultural goods up to their post-harvest management, marketing and sharing of economic returns via the formation of Farmer Producer Organisation Groups.

We aim to provide sustainable livelihood opportunities to underprivileged farmers from the NE region the opportunity to work with programs, which best match their skills, area of interest, expertise, and time availability of the individual, with a view to strengthen and add value to the ongoing work of NGOs in India's social development sector.
